Both plans include Profound's AI Marketer, which runs on credits: "limited" on the Trial and custom on Enterprise. Agencies are priced separately. Client workspaces are $399 a month each, and five extra trial workspaces are $199 a month. The base agency price is shown as an animated figure we couldn't read, so it isn't quoted here.

Starter and Growth offered two months free on annual billing. The Enterprise engine count read "10 answer engines" in November 2025 and "up to 9" in 2026.

The removal falls between two captures, September 14 and October 14, 2026. On September 15 Profound announced a $180M Series D at a $1.8B valuation and said it "now serves over 1,000 enterprise brands" (press release). Profound hasn't said publicly why the self-serve plans went.

What did Starter and Growth cost per prompt?

Starter worked out to $1.98 a prompt a month on one engine. Growth worked out to $3.99 a prompt, or $1.33 per prompt per engine across its three. For comparison, the self-serve trackers on our alternatives page run from $0.19 to $0.63 per prompt per engine.

What does Profound Enterprise cost?

Profound doesn't publish it. Its own pages say Enterprise is a "tailored" plan. The only figures in public come from people who asked, and they span a wide range. Read them as individual reports, dated, not as a price list.

“It used to start at USD 1,000 per month per brand per country. Average cost is probably significantly higher.”

“I did a sales call with Profound. It is really expensive ($3k/month to start) so we passed.”

“$500 a month for the most confusing dashboard and an LLM interface that provides little to no value.”

“The sales team...they do not answer emails, book them with calendly you book them with a reply that they are on vacation, they have one pricing on front page, another pricing inside the product.”

If those numbers are more than you want to spend before you know the tool works for you, the self-serve alternatives all show their prices up front.

Is the free Trial enough to judge Profound?

It shows you Profound's interface and a week of data. Over 7 days it runs 50 prompts a day on three engines, about 1,050 answers in total, against 1,500 a month on the old $99 Starter plan. The prompts come from a preset set for your industry that you can't edit, there's no history or export, and Claude and Perplexity aren't on it. To test your own buyers' questions, you'd need Enterprise.

Those plans replace the tracking. Profound's AI Marketer is the other half of its pitch: it finds opportunities and drafts the work. If that's what you were paying for, supereo ours is the self-serve option built around it. On its $149 plan it tells you exactly what to change on each page and measures each change; on the $499 Autopilot plan it ships fixes and new pages to Next.js and Astro sites itself. Every change gets a verdict against control questions. Plans on supereo.app.
