“We tried peec and profound. Ultimately used GrowByData, semrush, Google search console and Bing search data. Just ai monitoring tool wasn't sufficient as we had to use another one for Google.”u/Traditional-Dog-2850 on r/aeo · Oct 19, 2026 · Read the post

Profound vs Peec AI in 2026
Peec AI is the one you can buy today: $95 a month for 50 prompts on 3 AI models, with unlimited seats and an MCP server. Since October 2026, Profound sells brands only a free 7-day trial and custom-priced Enterprise, which adds up to 9 engines, prompt-volume data and its AI Marketer agents.
Pick Peec AI if you want a clean tracker you can start this week, for a team of any size, at a published price.
Pick Profound if you're an enterprise brand that needs nine engines, prompt-volume data, a security review and a vendor that does content work too.
Look at supereo ours if neither fits: it tracks six engines including Claude (which neither Profound's trial nor Peec's self-serve plans cover), tells you what to change, ships it on Autopilot and proves each change against control questions. From $149 a month.

What the same budget buys on each
Profound's last self-serve plan for brands, Growth, was $399 a month for 100 prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, about 9,000 answers a month. Here is what Peec's published prices give you at about that budget, and at the old Starter price.
| Budget | Profound (until Sep 2026) | Peec AI (today) |
|---|---|---|
| About $95 to $99 | Starter $99: 50 prompts, ChatGPT only, 1,500 answers a month | Starter $95: 50 prompts on 3 models, 4,500 answers a month, unlimited seats |
| About $385 to $399 | Growth $399: 100 prompts, 3 engines, 3 seats, 9,000 answers a month | Pro $245 plus two extra models at $70 each, $385 in all: 150 prompts on 5 models, unlimited seats |
Our arithmetic on each vendor's published plans. Peec's extra-model price on Pro is $70 a month per model.
On a like-for-like budget, Peec tracks more prompts on more engines for more people. What it doesn't have is Profound's prompt-volume data or its content agents.

What helpsPeec's Pro plan, or supereo at $149 with the action plan included, both cost less than Growth did.
Where Peec AI wins
- You can buy it today at a published price, from $95 a month, with 15% off yearly.
- Unlimited seats on every plan, and an MCP server on every plan.
- Three times the answers per month at the old Starter price, on three engines instead of one.
Where Profound wins
- Up to nine engines on Enterprise, with Claude, Grok and DeepSeek among them.
- Prompt-volume data on what people ask AI, and Agent Analytics for AI crawler traffic across your CDN.
- Agents that research, write and publish content, and enterprise security and support.
Switching from Profound to Peec AI
- Export your prompts, competitors and history while your Profound plan still has exports (Enterprise includes CSV and JSON).
- Choose Peec's three models to match the engines in your Profound history, so trends carry over.
- Re-enter your prompts; the Peec pages we read don't describe an import from Profound.
- Run both for a couple of weeks if your contract allows, and compare trends rather than absolute scores.
